Bre Drew

Bre is a warm, friendly, and approachable Clinical Psychologist. She has experience working with people across the lifespan and is particularly passionate about supporting school age children and their parents from her years working in multiple school settings.

Bre is down-to-earth, conversational, and non-judgemental of each person’s journey. She is informed by a relational and attachment-based framework. With children, she primarily uses concepts from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She also draws upon concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, Schema and Narrative Therapy based strategies.

Bre specialises in child anxiety, including supporting and educating parents through this journey using concepts from Cool Kids. She values providing young people and their families with the skills and confidence to navigate the school, university, or work settings. She can also support young adults experiencing interpersonal difficulties, burnout, self-esteem, and adjustment issues. Bre is trained in Parent and Infant Mental Health, which uses a relationship-based approach to perinatal mood disturbance and focuses on the parent-infant relationship.

Bre completed her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Wollongong and is a current member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She also completed a Masters in Sport, Exercise and Coaching from University College Dublin and has experience supporting athletes with their physical and mental health.
